Information Session for Faculty Members on the Introduction of the Online Learning Platform "LinkedIn Learning" (June 26, 1:00 PM)

The University of Tokyo is working as a whole to enhance and internationalize its educational environment. We develop and provide infrastructure to support these efforts university-wide. As part of our Digital Transformation (DX) infrastructure aimed at improving students’ skills and supporting their career development, we will introduce the online learning platform “LinkedIn Learning.” It is scheduled to be available to all students, faculty, and staff starting July 1, 2026. We will hold an information session regarding this as follows. We look forward to your participation.

Overview

  • Date: Friday, June 26, 2026
  • Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (Questions will be accepted even after the session ends)
  • Venue: Online (Zoom)
  • Target Audience: Primarily faculty members (including part-time lecturers). However, other members of the university are also able to attend.
  • Pre-registration is required.
  • A recording will be made available at a later date.
  • The presentation will be conducted in Japanese, but questions in English are also welcome.

Session Content and Target Audience

Contents provided by LinkedIn Learning or contents uniquely added to LinkedIn Learning are intended for use in situations such as the following:

  • Use as supplementary teaching materials for individual classes
  • Use as supplementary teaching materials for an entire department or course
  • Use for guidance in laboratories
  • Linking to career support

In this information session, we primarily intend to provide information to faculty members (including part-time lecturers) of the University of Tokyo, assuming that contents provided by LinkedIn Learning will be used as supplementary teaching materials for classes. However, since other cases of use are also possible, any member of the university’s faculty and staff is widely welcome to attend, especially those involved in duties related to students. Please note that explanations for students are being prepared. You are eligible to attend this session, but please understand its primary focus.
